Wow. Time have flew by. I remember showing up to Digital Photography 2 ten weeks ago with a hand full of ideas and excitement. I enjoy Photography so much and this class is a great outlet for creativity and expression. DP2 was very different from DP1. This class gave me more freedom in my photo assignments and more resources to make challenging Photoshop tutorials. This allowed for more independence in my photos and helped me develop my own photo style.
Last year in DP1, I spent most of my time with still life/nature. I still love both of these styles but easily ran out of ideas. With the 8 different photo assignments, I was allowed to experience other techniques that fit me more as a photographer. From this class I have realized that I am best at capturing portraits, people, and architecture. These styles fit best to my strengths (perfectionist/symmetrical style) and personality (people loving).

I also enjoyed the photoshop assignments given throughout the trimester. I love the new blending techniques that I learned throughout the trimester. This allowed me to grow more comfortable with photoshop and make me a skilled designer. Some of my best photoshop skills came from tutorials and face merging. I think it is a hilarious skill to learn in photoshop and a very easy process.
Photography is a passion of mine and I cant wait to continue and grow as a photographer in Advanced Photography next year!
